A Huddle on the Sidelines of the 70th UN Commission on the Status of Women
WOMEN’S LEADERSHIP AND ACCESS TO JUSTICE
5:30 p.m. 11 March 2026 (Wednesday)
One Vanderbilt, Heidrick & Struggles Office, New York City

We talk about women’s leadership as if the gap is confidence or capability. In reality, the gap is access—to opportunity, to decision-making, to justice.
We invite you into a different kind of conversation—both in content and format. Organised with Women’s Federation for World Peace International and global coaching collective Women of the World, the dialogue also marks the launch of HERDD, Southeast Asia’s launchpad for women ready to lead beyond the margins.
We begin with short, sharp 7-minute Pecha Kucha-style provocations from diverse voices, each tackling one hard truth:
Women’s barriers to economic participation
Climate justice is justice for women
Integrating access to justice in leadership
Then, the room opens up.
Using a fishbowl format, a small circle of experts is joined by open seats. Anyone from the audience can tap in, contribute, and be heard—after which seated speakers rise and make space for the next voice. Leadership here is not a panel you watch, but a system you participate in.
If you believe leadership should be shared, dynamic, and accessible—not fixed or hierarchical—this is for you.
